In The Blink of an Eye!

Posted on December 16th, 2013

You may be wondering what I have been up to given that I have not blogged for some time.  Well, it seems that this summer and fall have passed by In the Blink of an Eye!

Miechelle and I have been busy with so many things — between keeping up with our boys, Ben and Michael; the barn deconstruction and reconstruction (more on that later); summer vacation to Minnesota; moving Ben across town and Michael to Cedar Falls; our 25th wedding anniversary trip to the Badlands, Black Hills, Devils Tower, Battle of Little Bighorn, Glacier National Park and Yellowstone National Park; and my November Idaho trip to raft 75 miles of the Middle Fork Salmon River and Elk hunt in the Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness.  Oh yeah, and some work at my day-job.  Phew!

It has been an eventful summer and fall.  Much has been happening at Old Man’s Timber that I hope to share in the coming weeks.  Below is a photo (taken by Miechelle) that I believe is a Cope’s Gray Treefrog.  I thought was fitting for this post, the photo was taken on April 14th……….seems like just yesterday given the summer and fall have passed In the Blink of an Eye!
